Guided Mindfulness Practices

(for kids!)

Below are some different resources for guided mindfulness practices for primary-aged children. Read more about each one and click on the "learn more" button to access the resource.

Guided Imagery

Guided imagery can help with relaxation. It is often used to help navigate anxiety or other health issues. It can also be used before bedtime to help with sleep. This resource includes a number of voice-recorded guided scenarios that children can listen to. Eventually, they may be able to imagine each scenario on their own without the voice-recording.

Square Breathing

Square breathing can help with relaxation and focus. This resource is an age-appropriate video that children can watch and follow along with.
